Melissa Zink

Interim Executive Director/Director of Communications

Melissa is a 20+ year veteran of the trucking industry. She is works closely with the President, Board of Directors, allied industries and the councils and committees to develop and enforce policies and objectives for the association to ensure it maintains is values and meets established goals. Additionally Melissa is responsible for membership recruiting and retention activities within the KTA. Along with member communications, event planning and advertising sales.

Melissa has a great work ethic and an outgoing personality, and is an outstanding asset to the Kentucky Trucking Association as Director of Communications.

She currently resides in Lanesville, Indiana with her husband Barry, son Dylan and an older son, Tyler who lives in Saltillo, with his wife Kelly and their son Noah Contact her today for any Membership or Advertising inquiries.

Michelle Zaman

Office Manager

Michelle joined KTA part-time in November 2017 and moved into a full-time position beginning in January 2018. She brings with her 25+ years of administrative experience in finance, accounting, compliance, and training.

Michelle, originally a native of Bossier City, Louisiana, has lived in Kentucky since 2000. She has two children, Abby, who resides in Washington, D.C. while working for a U.S. Senator, and Sabian, who is a freshman at the University of Kentucky. Michelle enjoys going to Keeneland, kayaking, camping, going to the lake, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
