Mark Guest is currently serving in the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) as the Supervisory Transportation Security Inspector for the regulatory compliance division at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). He manages a multi-disciplined group of regulatory specialists which enforce security regulations in all modes of transportation to include air cargo, airport and airline operations and surface transportation. He has been at CVG since 2004. Mark Guest has over 18 years of experience in various aspects of transportation security.

Graduated from Southern High School in 1979. Joined the Marine Corps in 1980. Instructed electronics in 29 Palms Ca for 5 years and was also a San Bernardino County Reserve Sheriff’s Deputy for 3 of the 5 years. Attended many colleges during my time in the Marine Corps and obtained a Computer Science Degree. Retired from Marine Corps in 2000.
Went to work for Northrop Grumman on the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) project. Moved back to Kentucky in 2003 and continued to work from my home. Managed over 200 technicians in California, North and South Carolina, New Orleans LA, Hawaii and Iwakuni .Japan. Joined the Transportation Security Administration in 2008 and currently work as a Transportation Security Inspector – Surface.
