2026 Kentucky Truck Driving Championships

ARE YOU KENTUCKY'S BEST TRUCK DRIVER??? 

The Kentucky Trucking Association Risk & Safety Management Council invites you and your family to Lexington, KY on May 8 & 9, 2026 for the annual Kentucky Truck Driving Championships (TDC). Professional drivers from across the state of Kentucky who qualify to participate are graded on their ability to assess safety defects in a pre-trip inspection, test their knowledge of the regulations in a thorough written exam, and apply their driving skills in their truck class to a course guaranteed to challenge the best drivers.

*The deadline to register is April 15th, with a late registration (additional cost) until COB April 22nd. After the 22nd, no registration will be accepted. Please note that you must also register for the National Truck Driving Championships to compete in the state-wide competition. Winners of the Kentucky Truck Driving Championships will go on to compete nationally!

In addition to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards, KTA will award Rookie-of-the-Year, Best Pre-Trip Inspection, Best Written Exam, Skills Course Highest Score, Team Champions, and the overall Grand Champion. All First-Place winners may be eligible to represent Kentucky at the ATA National Championships in August.
 
We welcome all members to attend the competition on Saturday, regardless of whether you are competing or not to cheer on competitors. If you would like to volunteer contact the KTA office at 502-227-0848.
